Leah and Adam traveled from Surrey to celebrate their wedding at Mas Palou, bringing their family and friends together in the Penedès wine region, just outside Barcelona. They are an incredibly high-energy, warm, and fun-loving couple who wanted a completely relaxed day centered around great music – from Cleo Sol and Tems to old-school R&B – and genuinely enjoying every single second with their people.
The entire wedding took place across the grounds of the estate. Following a hilarious and deeply personal ceremony in the courtyard officiated by Leah’s sister, Leah and Adam opened the cocktail hour right away with a champagne tower. The afternoon flowed naturally into an open-air dinner by Caravan Made, giving everyone space to move around and celebrate without feeling pushed through a rigid schedule.
I documented the day on 35mm film, moving quietly in the background from the morning preparations through to the party. Rather than staging moments or pulling Leah and Adam away from their guests, I focused on capturing everything happening naturally – the unscripted laughter, the energy during the speeches, and the raw atmosphere on the dance floor.
Mas Palou is a beautiful venue to work at, but what I’ll remember most from this one is just how much Leah and Adam enjoyed their own wedding. Their energy set the tone for the entire day, and it made this one especially fun to photograph.
